Don’t forget to bring one or more flashlights and extra batteries. Extra clothes in a water tight bag. Additionally, a rain jacket even if the weather is clear. Make sure to bring a first aid kit, a whistle and a map. Closed toe comfortable shoes to avoid insects and ticks. A couple of warm blankets and plenty of drinking water. Sunscreen and a hat. Furthermore, do have an emergency plan that everyone is aware of.
